I'm Sandra Harens, and for the last 29 years, I have been obsessed with one thing. Haircolor that works with a woman's life instead of running it.
As a busy 51 year old mom of three, I know what it feels like to stand in front of the mirror at four weeks and see that stripe staring back.
I know the mental load of scheduling your life around a touch up.
And I know the quiet frustration of leaving a salon appointment with hair that still didn't look right.
(Yes, it happens to stylists too...)
That frustration became my purpose.

It is a specialty, and I sought out the very best teacher I could find.
I have had the privilege of studying directly under Rosie Baylis, the original grey blending expert, based in the UK and recognized internationally as a pioneer of this method.
Rosie quite literally wrote the book on grey blending as a specialty, and learning from her shaped not only my technical approach but my entire philosophy around what this process can and should be for the women who go through it.

When I am not in my studio, you will find me out on the trails in the Black Hills with my three dogs while my kids are in school,
or attempting to excavate myself from a mountain of laundry with a podcast in my ears.
I am endlessly curious about personal development and holistic health, always hunting for a new author to binge, and occasionally crocheting as a completely ineffective avoidance strategy for the aforementioned laundry.
I built this business because I believe that a woman who stops fighting her hair and starts working with it walks differently.
She stops planning her calendar around her roots. She stops feeling anxious before events. She starts receiving compliments she doesn’t quite know how to explain.
She feels like herself again.
That is what I am here for.
