I'm Sandra Harens, originally from southeastern SD (east river!!!) and now proudly serving the Black Hills from north of Spearfish all the way south to Chadron NE.

As a 50 year old mom of three busy younger kids 8, 10 and 18, I know how confidence can be fleeting as we notice all the young fashionable moms that seem effortlessly put together while we struggle to remain relevant covering up our grey hair.

I'm a former salon owner and stylist in Sioux Falls and Yankton, and over the last 27+ years as a colorist, I have strived to offer low maintenance, lived in haircolor for women that blends as it grows. Over the last handful of years, as I have grown more silver strands alongside my guests, I have made it my mission to educate myself in as many innovative and creative methods as I can find to offer the latest, most elegant options available to gently diffuse or embrace our grey hair.

While traditionally trained stylists offer solid grey coverage with high ammonia products and 4-6 week appointments

as the industry standard, I see my role as your Grey Blending Expert a bit differently.

I've crafted a 4-6 month journey to an end result that will remove the dreaded stripe of regrowth, replace brassy midlengths with a beautifully natural and complimentary ash tone, and leave you with the freedom of quarterly or biannual color refresh. If you are searching for no maintenance and all natural haircolor, I am there to support and deliver that result safely without sacrificing the health of your hair.

When I am not in my studio, I am often out on the trails in our beautiful Black Hills with my two pups while my kiddos are in school-or digging my way out of mountains of laundry while podcasting to reset my brain. I love to share ideas on personal development and holistic health options. Aside from that, I'm always looking for a way to binge read a new author while crocheting and avoid above said mountain of laundry.​
